
The Quality and Accreditation Unit (QAU) aims to establish processes that ensure the delivery of high quality education through the implementation of academic and supportive standards recommended by EEC-NCAAE.
Major Functions
- Advises on institution-wide priorities and strategies for quality improvement.
- Assists academic and administrative units in the development of Quality improvement strategies.
- Establishes and monitor self-assessment processes and reporting requirements.
- Provides advice and support for faculty and staff on quality matters as required.
- Specifies criteria for selection and formats for indicators, benchmarks, and objectives.
- Prepares standard forms for matters such as student and graduate surveys.
- Advises on operational procedures for the planning and implementation of quality processes.
- Maintains systematic collections of reports on performance, including data on indicators and benchmarks that will be required for analysis and reporting on trends in performance.
- Coordinates and leads the preparation of self- studies at Institutional and Program levels for consideration within the institution and for use by external reviews.
