The Quality and Accreditation Unit (QAU) aims to establish processes that ensure the delivery of high quality education through the implementation of academic and supportive standards recommended by EEC-NCAAE.
Major Functions
Advises on institution-wide priorities and strategies for quality improvement.
Assists academic and administrative units in the development of Quality improvement strategies.
Establishes and monitor self-assessment processes and reporting requirements.
Provides advice and support for faculty and staff on quality matters as required.
Specifies criteria for selection and formats for indicators, benchmarks, and objectives.
Prepares standard forms for matters such as student and graduate surveys.
Advises on operational procedures for the planning and implementation of quality processes.
Maintains systematic collections of reports on performance, including data on indicators and benchmarks that will be required for analysis and reporting on trends in performance.
Coordinates and leads the preparation of self- studies at Institutional and Program levels for consideration within the institution and for use by external reviews.
