Dr. Amal Sendi is an associate professor in Oral Pathology Division Oral Diagnostic Science Department and simultaneously the Vice Dean.

She Received her Master's degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from Tufts University. Then she earned her Doctoral Degree in dental and medical education from Queen Mary University of London.

Dr. Amal has played important and various roles at King Abdulaziz University such as, deputy supervisor in the General Quality Administration, director in the Faculty Skills Enhancement Division, coordinator for the Second KAU Strategic Plan, assistant Professor in the Oral Pathology Division, and a deputy Supervisor in the Academic Accreditation Administration.

Moreover, Dr. Amal has been an External Reviewer of Dental Programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA) for almost 8 years. She has been a Consultant at the Ministry of Higher Education for a year and a half.

In addition, Dr. Amal is an active member at the Royal Society of Medicine.
