Dr. Mazen Fakeeh is a consultant internist and endocrinologist, FCMS Board of trustees Chairperson, and the President of the Fakeeh.Care Group a leading healthcare institution in the Middle East.
Dr. Mazen studied M.B. & CH.B (MD) at King AbdulAziz University. After that he received his MRCP, FRCP, Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians in London – UK.
While serving on few regulatory institutions and boards, Dr. Mazen is widely recognized as one of the most influential health care trend setters in the region. His leadership and commitment to the community, not only tripled the company’s revenues and profits in just five years, but also grew DSFH to become synonymous of international quality healthcare in the kingdom, beating or meeting every international benchmark; his motto “Compete with the best in the west”.
He is the inceptor, inspirer, and leader of institutions. In addition to his accreditations and discoveries, Dr. Mazen is a tireless advocate of quality and patient safety. He has led the organization to receiving the highest acknowledgement by highly acclaimed international institutions, such as the joint commission and Australian council.
He places sustainability at the core of strategic planning, focusing on the four sustainability pillars, and making the hospital a pioneer in publishing the yearly CSR report.
Dr. Mazen received numerous business and industry honors for his leadership. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Saudi commission for Healthcare Specialists, an advisory board member of W1 cluster and school of medicine at Um Al Qura University, and a board member in Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company.
