FCMS Scientific Research Workshop for Alumni & Students ( May, 2024 )

·      Research is a very important educational tool in any educational settings. It helps to expand the body of knowledge and find solutions for problems. Consequently, Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences is keen to empower its students and graduates with research skills and tools necessary for their progress. In addition, enhancing research environment and its infrastructure is part of FCMS mission and one of its strategic goals. Therefore, FCMS integrates Scientific Research Workshops in its annual calendar targeting students and alumni and believing in the importance of research in medical sciences.

• Recognize research concept and its types
• Identify the components of the research proposal.
• Develop a comprehensive research proposal.
• Identify different data collection tools.
• Use questionnaire in research.
• Differentiate between sampling techniques.
• Calculate the sample size in medical research.
• Use SPSS software for data analysis.
• Recognize structure of manuscript.
• Illustrate tips and tricks in writing manuscript.
• Comprehend publication process.
• Select appropriate journal for publication.
• Identify the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in research.
