Dr. Yasser Jamal is the first Saudi professor in a Pediatric Surgery in 1996. Ad he is a Pediatric Surgery consultant at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital.

Dr. Yasser Jamal is the president of the gender correction center at King Abdulaziz University Hospital. He is the chief president at Bagedo Erfan Hospital.

As for his Education, Dr. Yasser Jamal studied at Cairo University and obtained his Bachelor in Medical and surgery in 1978. He then Received his fellowship in medical surgery from both Ireland and The United States in 1985-1990.

He is a member and a fellow in various associations such as, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Arabic initiative for children’s surgery, and international society of surgery.

Dr. Yasser Jamal has contributed in many positions in medical college at King Abdulaziz University. He has been a professor of surgery since 1996. He also was an assistant professor of surgery starting from 1991.

He has more than 40 research papers in Pediatric and plastic surgery genital reconstruction surgery.
